Meet Baby Pyper!

So I have been terrible at updating my blog, but I will blame it on the 4 kids! Wow that is a lot of kids running around here! We had our baby! We named her Pyper and she was born at 8:34 am on Monday April 27th. She weighed in at 6 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 in. long. It was a long night, but so worth it in the end! She is a great baby. She is great at nursing and sleeping, so what more could I ask for? The girls love her, but Porter isn't quite sure about her. Every once in a while he will show some interest in her, but mostly he just cares about his cars! I have not downloaded pictures from my camera (because then I have to scrapbook them, and who has the time?) But my cute neighbor took some pictures of her when she was 2 weeks. She did a great job and I can't thank her enough. You can check out her blog at whimspypix.blogspot.com. I thought I was for sure done having kids, but then you get a little angel and it makes you think that maybe you should have 1 more, so please hurry and talk me out of that craziness!

KMK Home

So this is a little plug for my sister-in-law Heather. She sells for KMK Home, which has candles, melting hunks, warmers, diffusers, etc. The company used to pour all the wax for Scensty, and now they have their own products. They just redid their company for direct sales so if anyone is interested in some extra money, it is a great time to get started with them. I think most of the reps are only in Davis county. They are going to be launching a new bath line as well that will have sugar scrubs, bath salts, soaps, etc. that go with all the great scents. They are getting a new scent called coconut lime verbena, that smells divine. Well I feel I did my part to help promote her some business. Jared's Surgery

I know everyone is dying to know how Jared's thumb and elbow are. So here is a little update. The surgery went really well, they didn't have to fuse his thumb or use bone marrow from his hip. The doctor was very surprised that there was not more damage. So Jared is very lucky. He goes in this week to get the pins taken out and get a cast on, which will be on for 4 weeks. He should be all better in time for the baby to come! Thanks for all the yummy treats people brought us! I enjoyed them just as much as Jared did!

It's a Girl!

Well we have known since I was 12 weeks ( I am now a very proud 29 weeks)! Everytime we go, we ask are you sure? We were sure it was a boy. But now they have checked about 6 times, and they are 100% sure it is a girl. It has taken that long for it to sink in. We are very excited though. I am pretty sure we are naming her Pyper. I have not loved it, but Jared has insisted on that name. He has now given me all naming rights, but Pyper just fits now! I guess he won out in the end!
